Pursuant to the provisions of Sections 15.2-2100, et seq., Code of Virginia (1950), as amended, the Town of Christiansburg proposes to grant a ten year small cell franchise to Shenandoah Mobile, LLC and Shenandoah Personal Communications, LLC (collectively, “Shentel”).
A copy of the proposed franchise agreement between the Town and Shentel, and the proposed ordinance authorizing the Town to enter into the franchise agreement with Shentel may be reviewed by the public in the Town Manager’s Office. Such franchise shall be for a term of ten (10) years and shall be renewal for three (3) additional five (5) year periods.
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Town of Christiansburg will hold a public hearing on the above matter at its regular meeting to be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, commencing at 7 p.m., local time, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chambers 100 East Main Street, Christiansburg, Virginia 24073.
