Mark Henderson (Mac) Albert Jr. 70, of Blacksburg died, Thursday, Aug. 29, 2019. He was born in Christiansburg, Va. on September 3, 1948 to the late Mark Henderson, Sr. and Dorothy McCoy Albert. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Eula Akers, brothers-in-law, Charles King, John Collins, Charles Meredith Jr., his in-laws, Norman and Juanita Poff of Vinton, whom loved him as a son. He was a member of Blacksburg Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). He is survived by his wife, Sandra Jean Albert, daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Regan Underwood, son, Michael Albert, grandchildren, Caitlyn Ward and husband, Clinton, Logan Underwood, Erin Albert, Ryan Albert, Sara Albert, Jake Albert, great-grandchildren, Casen, Callie, Collin Ward, sisters and brothers-in-law, Eleanor King, Kitty Collins, Estelle Meredith, Emily and Jerry Oliver, brother and sister-in-law, Mickey and Diana Albert, brother-in-law, Kenneth Akers, numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Sept. 1, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary McCoy and Rev. J.B. Beane officiating. Burial will follow in the Centennial Christian Church Cemetery, McCoy. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Blacksburg Christian Church 240 Watson Ave., Blacksburg, Va. 24060. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Saturday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. SW, Blacksburg.
