The Christiansburg Church of the Brethren will host an evening of gospel singing, beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21 at the church (310 S. Franklin), across from Sunset Cemetery. Sounds of Harmony, The Glorylanders of the NRV, Auburn Baptist Church and Heather Dudley and the Girls will lead the singing, and a social hour with good food and fellowship will follow the singing. Everyone is invited. “The Christiansburg Church of the Brethren has been serving Christ for the past 112 years with an open invitation to everyone who wishes to attend,” the announcement of the event said.
