The Boy Scouts of Troop 145 in Christiansburg celebrated their achievements at a recent court of honor. Boy Scouts have been working since June 2019 on a total of sixty merit badges, skills awards and rank badges through troop meetings, campouts, service projects, merit badge programs and summer camp. Charted by the United Methodist Men of St. Paul United Methodist Church, these young men lead their own activities each Monday night and on campouts every third weekend of the month while volunteer adult leaders offer guidance. Nine Troop 145 Scouts are currently of the Life rank and are working towards their Eagle rank, the highest level of achievement in Scouting. For more information, visit www.CburgTroop145.
