The Radford Public Library has received a federal grant in cooperation with Feeding America Southwest Virginia (FASWVA) to provide teens with snacks and dinner every day during the school week. “If you spy the Share Box in the library, it contains leftovers that are free for everyone,”reads a statement from the library. “Usually this box is on the desk in the children’s area, so please help yourself to a snack or drink when you see it. This FASWVA car was recently parked in the library lot so the representative, Ms. Brandon, could conduct an inspection on RPL’s feeding services. Thanks to the Youth Services team, RPL passed with flying colors!”
