A group of CHS seniors went retro with the theme for their float in Wednesday’s homecoming parade. They dressed as hippies and wished for peace power and not a fighting attitude for the Patrick Henry Patriots, the opponent in Friday night’s football game..Following the homecoming parade, the CHS cheerleaders and the Marching Blue Demons band led the student body in a raucous pep rally.Christiansburg High School’s students threw a party Wednesday with a parade through downtown. The parade was kicked off by the color guard from the school’s Corps of Cadets and the high school’s Blue Demon Marching Band.
