Through Jan. 16, 2020, Stanger Street, between Old Turner Street and Barger Street, will close to accommodate construction related to the chilled water infrastructure project. The Old Security Building Parking Lot will be closed. Emergency egress for the Virginia Tech Rescue Squad will be maintained for the duration of the project. Foot traffic in and around the Old Security Building, Military Building, and North Chiller Plant will be rerouted. The map above illustrates the affected area and an alternate sidewalk route.
