AGRICULTURAL & FORESTAL DISTRICT (AFD) ADVISORY COMMITTEE The AFD Advisory Committee reviews all landowner applications to the County for the creation of new AFD’s, as well as additions and renewals of existing AFD’s. Interested candidates should be landowners in Montgomery County and be qualifi ed to offer expert advice as to the nature of farming, forestry and agricultural resources. Meetings are held as needed. PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION The Parks and Recreation Commission serves as an advisory board to the Parks and Recreation Department in developing leisure-time activities and programs for residents of all ages in Montgomery County. Meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Montgomery County Government Center. Appointment is for three (3) years.
