The Meadowbrook Library is hosting its eighth annual Prom Dress Extravaganza.
Library staffers and volunteers are looking for clean, gently used prom dresses to be given away to high school juniors and seniors attending their local prom.
Anyone with a prom dress they are willing to part with may drop off the dresses at any of the branches of the Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library. The dresses are needed by Saturday, Feb. 29.
The Prom Dress Extravaganza will be held on Thursday, March 5, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Meadowbrook Public Library, 267 Alleghany Spring Road in Shawsville. It is open to public school, private school and home-schooled students. All dresses will be free to the participants.
