Audience favorite FLIP Fabrique returns to the Moss Arts Center with its latest circus creation on Thursday, March 5, at 7:30 p.m.

A crazy, poetic, and gentle journey in the dead of winter, “Blizzard” takes the stage by storm with an engaging storyline told through dazzling acrobatics, captivating movement, a dash of comedy, and enchanting live music.

The performance will be held in the center’s Anne and Ellen Fife Theatre, located within the Street and Davis Performance Hall at 190 Alumni Mall.

FLIP Fabrique is a young troupe founded by a group of friends at the peak of their talents as professional circus artists. Their shared dream is to create cirque shows that are inspired by their own personalities and experiences. Each performer in “Blizzard” is the top star of his or her cirque specialty, showcasing one-of-a-kind, unmatched skills.

“Blizzard” is the story of a group of friends, exploring the awe and wonder of a winter storm. Through the lens of its very special and intimate relationship with winter, FLIP Fabrique invites audiences to get lost in a moment of white wonder.

A contemporary circus from Quebec, FLIP Fabrique grew out of the friendship and dream of circus performers in 2011. The company’s high-quality and playful shows are breathtaking, elegant performances.

This performance is supported in part by gifts from Constance Cedras and Stacy Brown.

During their visit, members of FLIP Fabrique will visit John N. Dalton Intermediate School in Radford City and lead a workshop on a variety of circus arts, including hula hooping, juggling, Diabolo, and German wheel, for middle school students.

Tickets for the performance are $25-55 for the general public and $10 for students and youth 18 and under. Tickets can be purchased online; at the Moss Arts Center’s box office, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday; or by calling 540-231-5300 during box office hours.
