This photograph shows a “new building” at Camp Alta Mons in June 1967. Camp Alta Mons is located on the former site of Crockett Springs (a nineteenth-century mineral springs resort). The site has been owned by the Roanoke District of the Methodist Church since 1957 and is still operating. The building pictured was likely part of an ambitious building program undertaken in 1965.
