Matthew David Bain, 90, of Christiansburg, passed away Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark David and Dessie Fulcher Bain; his wife, Joan Nichols Bain; and a son, Roger Bain.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Terry and Barry Duncan; a special daughter-in-law, Rita Kanode and her husband Terry; a niece, Gwen Ratcliff; four grandchildren, Michelle Stafford, Kim Bain, Dawn Harrell and Zack Kanode; 13 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. today, Oct. 21, 2020, at the Bethel United Methodist Church. Memorial services will begin at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
