The Town of Blacksburg’s fall leaf collection will begin Monday, Oct. 26, and continue through Friday, Dec. 4, with leaf pick-up crews in each of the quadrants for the duration of the leaf collection.
Loose and bagged leaves will be collected at the same time in the east and west sides of Blacksburg. Heavily forested neighborhoods will be revisited the week of Dec. 7.
Each quadrant will have three, two-week windows to put out their leaves and a fourth week pick-up for neighborhoods that have heavily forested areas. Please have leaves at the curb by 7:00 a.m. starting Oct. 26.
Leaf collection cycles begin on the following Mondays:Oct. 26, Nov. 9, Nov. 23 and Dec. 7 (heavily forested).
