The first day of the Montgomery Museum of Art and History’s second annual used book sale will be Saturday, Nov. 7, from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at 825 Park St., next to the Three Strand Church.

The book sale will also be held on three other dates with hours from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.: Nov. 4, Dec. 4 and Dec. 18. The final day of the sale will be Bag Sale Day, which means bibliophiles can purchase all the books they can fit in their bag for $10. Brown paper bags and tote bags are perfect for the bag sale, but plastic trash bags are not allowed.

With the exception of a few individually priced items, paperback books will be 50 cents, large format paperback books will be $1.00, hardback books will be $1.50 and DVDs and CDs will be $2.00. The book sale will also have puzzles, games, magazines and audiobooks.

More than 5,000 books including children’s books, adult fiction and nonfiction will be available for sale. Genres include mystery, romance, science fiction, cooking, history, crafts, religion and self-help.

Proceeds from the book sale will be used to help the museum in areas such as education programming, collection care and exhibit preparation.
