Gloria Anne Parrott Carroll, 72, of Riner, passed away Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020, at her home.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Daisy B. Parrott; her father, Theodore Woody Parrott; her sister, Belva Parrott, and her brother, Charles “Bobby” Parrott.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph D. Carroll; her son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Joyce Hopkins; her daughter and son-in-law, Betina and Steve McGuire; stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Jim Sarver, Tracy and John Bausano and Angela Carroll; 12 grandchildren, Rachel, Christie, Chris, Russell, Nate, Elizabeth, Ethan, Lucy, Emma, Tima and Kyndra; four great-grandchildren, Carter, Daelyn, Levi and Aubrey; her stepmother, Esther (Mama P) Parrott; half-sisters Tina Parrott and Linda Walters; a nephew, Rob Flowers; nieces Donna Spencer and Tonya Villarreal; lifelong friends Paulette Stewart Custer and Silvana Lafluer; as well as her whole Moog family.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Angel and Nicole Cromer Thompson and the fourth-floor staff that helped and cared for Anne at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. Services will be private. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
