The short spring football season is quickly coming to an end.
This week is critical for Christiansburg and Auburn, who are still in the hunt for a postseason appearance. Only the four top teams in each region make the playoffs.
Coming into the week, Christiansburg was sixth in points in the region, .5 points behind Magna Vista with Lord Botetourt first, Carroll County second, Abingdon third and Cave Spring fourth.
In Class 1C, Auburn is sixth just .2 points behind Eastern Montgomery and George Wythe. Galax and
Narrows are tied for first and Grayson is third.
