The third annual Montgomery County Race for ACCE event will take place virtually Aug. 6-8, 2021.

ACCE (Access to Community College Education) is an economic development public/private partnership that makes college debt-free to high school and home-schooled graduates by funding New River Community College tuition for two years.  Students in return provide 80 hours of community service on an annual basis. Approximately 300 Montgomery County students will attend NRCC in the fall of 2021 using ACCE funds.

The 5K registration fee is $25 with a family discount for three or more at $60. The Children’s Fun Run fee is $10. Medals will be provided to age-group winners based on online time information submitted. In addition sponsorships and “friends” of ACCE are needed.

Visit the raceforacce.com website to register as a participant, a sponsor or a friend of ACCE. Contact Martha Ann Stallings at mstallin@vt.edu for additional information.
