On Tuesday, Dec. 14 at 6:30 p.m., the Blacksburg Town Council will announce the naming of the new police station building at 200 Clay St., in honor of retired Chief of Police William H. (Bill) Brown.
Brown served 35 years with the Blacksburg Police Department, twelve as chief, before retiring in 2006. His family will join him at the meeting, which will include a special presentation by current Blacksburg Police Chief Anthony Wilson.
