The Alpha Mu Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority will crown Kristen Talley as its Valentine Queen on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022, at The Farmhouse Restaurant in Christiansburg.

Talley pledged to the sorority chapter in November 2019.

She has successfully completed pledge training under the tutelage of Vice President Sue Warden and will be honored with the Ritual of Jewels in the near future. Talley has been serving on the chapter’s Service and Social committees.

Talley will be crowned by last year’s queen, Nancy Jo Waters, at 1:00 p.m., following a welcome from Carolyn K. Sowers.

Talley is employed as a Fiscal Technician in the Biological Science Department of Virginia Tech, and she enjoys bird watching, reading, nature walks, and cooking. She lives in Christiansburg with her husband of 26 years, Paul. They have a daughter, Karen, who currently resides and works in Houston, Texas.
