Town of Christiansburg CDBG Consolidated Plan/ Annual Action Plan
The Town of Christiansburg Draft 5-Year Consolidated Plan for the period July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2027 and Draft Program Year 2022 Action Plan will be available for comment period beginning May 10, 2022 and ending June 14, 2022. The 5-Year Consolidated Plan and Annual Action has been developed in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The 5-Year Consolidated Plan is a planning document that identifies housing and community development needs in the Town’s low to moderate income, homeless, and special needs population, as well as a targeted low to moderate area. The PY 2022 Annual Action Plan serves as the Town’s grant application to HUD for approximately $105,947 and sets the goals and budgets for the use of funds.
A copy of the Draft Consolidated Plan, Annual Action Plan, and Citizen’s Participation Plan is available for review online at www.christiansburg.org/729/CommunityDevelopment-Block-Grant or at the Town Manager’s Office, 100 East Main Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073. A print copy of the draft plan will be located at the Christiansburg Public Library, located at 125 Sheltman Street during the review process.
