Pursuant to the provisions of Virginia Code §§ 15.2-1800 and 15.2-2100, et seq., the Town of Christiansburg proposes to grant a one-year license to Wing Aviation LLC (collectively, Wing) with three additional one-year auto-renewals. The purpose of the license is to allow Wing to establish a public delivery zone for customers of Wing’s delivery app on an approximately 900 square foot area in the northwest portion of the Christiansburg Recreation Center property at 1600 North Franklin Street (Tax Map No. 466- A 8A;466(2* ; Parcel ID No. 026472).
A copy of the proposed license between the Town and Wing and the proposed ordinance authorizing the Town to enter into the license agreement may be reviewed by the public in the Town Manager’s Office.
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Town of Christiansburg will hold a public hearing on the above matter at its regular meeting to be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 100 East Main Street, Christiansburg, Virginia 24073.
All parties and interested citizens may appear on the above date and be heard and give comment on the matter.
