Pulaski River Turtles release 2023 baseball schedule

A new season of Pulaski River Turtles baseball is slated to begin June 6 on the road against the Bluefield Ridge Runners with Opening Night at Calfee Park scheduled for Thursday, June 8 against the Danville Otterbots.  

Released Thursday, Nov. 17, the schedule includes 24 home games with 11 home games in June and 13 home games in July. The regular-season finale is scheduled for Monday, July 31. In total, the 2023 schedule boasts 48 dates. 

All home games will begin at 7 p.m.. A collection of promotional nights will accentuate the action-packed schedule, headlined by the return of Agriculture Night, Saddle-Up Sunday, and Circus Night.

Information on season ticket packages, box seating, and individual game tickets for the 2023 season is forthcoming. 

2023 will mark Pulaski’s 57th season fielding teams in the Appalachian League. The River Turtles enjoyed a successful 2021 campaign in the league’s first season of collegiate wood-bat play, compiling a regular-season record of 32-22 and earning the East Division championship. The Greeneville Flyboys edged the River Turtles 9-8, however, to earn the 2021 Appalachian League championship. The River Turtles followed up their maiden season with a solid second-place finish in the East Division in 2022.

2023 Pulaski River Turtles Home Dates

June 8-9: Danville July 1-2: Kingsport

June 10-11: Burlington July 3: Princeton

June 13-14: Bluefield    July 6-7: Danville

June 20-21: Johnson City July 13-14: Burlington

June 22-23: Bristol July 15-16: Elizabethton

June 28: Princeton July 22-23: Greeneville 

July 30-31: Princeton

Pulaski teams have a combined all-time record of 252-207 (248-199 regular season) in the Appalachian League, and boast five league championships: 1948, 1969, 1986, 1991, and 2013.
