That the Board of
Supervisors hereby schedules a public hearing for Monday, February 27, 2023, at 7:15 p.m. or as soon thereafter, at the Montgomery County Government Center, 755 Roanoke Street, Christiansburg, Virginia, in order to receive citizen comments on the intent to adopt a resolution amending the FY 2022-2023 budget by more than one percent of the total expenditures shown in the currently adopted budget, not to exceed $9 million, by appropriating CARES/ESSER Funds for the Montgomery County Public Schools capital projects. A copy of the proposed resolution and the current adopted budget is available for inspection Monday through Friday 8:30-5:00 pm in the County Administrator’s Suite in the Montgomery County Government Center, 755 Roanoke Street, Suite 2E, Christiansburg, Virginia.
