The Christiansburg Lions Club recently honored a graduating student in Auburn, Christiansburg, Eastern Montgomery and Floyd County high schools.
Recently, the club presented the following students with a plaque and a $1,000 scholarship in recognition of their service to the community: Isabella Landon of Floyd County High School, Brantley Smith of Auburn High School, Alaina Partin of Christiansburg High School and Allison Bower of Eastern Montgomery High School.
The Lions Club is the largest service organization in the world with 1.4 million members serving in more than 200 countries. The club’s motto is simply, “We Serve.”
