The Community Health Center of the New River Valley (CHCNRV) is pleased to announce that Dr. S. Alexander Wood will join our staff in our Dublin office as Lead Dentist. In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Wood will also oversee our groundbreaking new dental residency program.
Dr. Wood earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, where he achieved academic excellence while demonstrating exceptional leadership skills. His skill set includes a wide range of dental procedures, including restorative treatments, extractions, endodontic procedures, and prosthodontic treatments. Dr. Wood also brings a strong background in community service. He has participated in dental mission trips to provide free dental care to underserved populations.
