Peggy Franklin Howard, 80, of Check, died Thursday, June 29, 2023.
She was born in Radford on December 30, 1942 to the late Robert Geoffery and Mary Freeman Franklin. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Geoffery Franklin, Jr. She was a member of Sugar Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Frank A. (Peachy) Howard; son, Steven Todd Hughes and Carrie; granddaughter, Erica; great-grandson, Kaden; sisters, Janice Akers and Diane Ferguson; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Still, Mary Adkins, and Hazel Johnson; brother-in-law, Marvin Howard; special niece, Bonnie Adkins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be conducted today, Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 3 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel.
