Pursuant to the provisions of Section 15.2-2204 & 15.2-2285 of the Code of Virginia of 1950, as amended, the Montgomery County Planning Commission hereby gives notice of a public hearing to be held on August 16, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in the County Government Center, 755 Roanoke St., Christiansburg, Virginia, in order to hear citizen comments regarding the Planning Commission’s intention to act on the following Ordinance:
A request by Jeffrey Allan and Jennifer Lamm Frayser (Agent: Meredith Engineering) to rezone a total of 122.60 acres from Rural Residential (RR) conditional with proffers approved in 2008 to develop a proposed single-family subdivision, to Agricultural (A-1) to allow for a family subdivision consisting of three (3) single-family residential lots. The property is located on Bradshaw Road (State Rt. 629), approximately 0.05 miles west of the intersection of Bradshaw Road and Dewberry Lane. The property is further identified as Tax Map 032-A 55 (Parcel ID: 001477) in the Mount Tabor Magisterial District. The property lies in an area designated as Rural in the 2025 Montgomery County Comprehensive Plan
