Jimmy Fisher, 71, of Radford, passed away peacefully at home on July 23. He was surrounded by his family who loved him and laughed with him right up until the end.
Jimmy is survived by his wife of 52 years, JoAnn; daughter, Shelly Fisher, of Radford and her children, Julius, Anabel, Patton, and Sophie, of Radford; daughter, Jamie Moffit and son-in-law Ian Moffitt (known to Jimmy as “Ivan”) of Hernando, Miss., and their children Hank and Ruthie; sister Patty Reynolds, of Wytheville; and two special fur babies, Nikki and Emmy.
Jimmy was a Navy Veteran, an avid hunter and fisherman, and most importantly…the life of the party! He never missed the opportunity to tell a joke, many of them inappropriate, all of them hilarious. Everyone he encountered walked away from him smiling and laughing.
Per his request, Jimmy will be cremated and there will be no service. There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.
