Harry Beckwith “H.B.” Whitt, Jr., 82, passed away Monday, Dec. 4, 2023, at his home in Radford. He was a member of Unity Christian Church and taught at River Heads High School, Pulaski County High School and retired from VA Tech.
- B. was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Beckwith, Sr. and Alma Virginia Linkous Whitt; and his brother, Robert “Bob” Whitt.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Janet Whitt; sons, Scott Whitt (Lori) and Johnny Whitt (Karen); grandchildren, Justin (Bailey), Dillon (MaKayla) and Riley; brother, Cabby Whitt (Diane); and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends 2 – 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023, at Unity Christian Church in Radford. Memorial services will follow at 4 p.m. with Rev. Wendy Wilson officiating.
