The Christiansburg High softball team put together a solid performance earlier this week in a 10-4 win over Abingdon. Kyrstin Lowe started the event off with one of her three hits on the night followed by a walk for Kadyn Camper.
Makaylee Hughes would blast in the first points of the night with a two-run shot in the first. Camper and Womack each had a pair of hits on the night, and Sophia Russell also had one for a team total of nine.
Womack drove in two runs and Camper four on the night adding another “yard” ball to her collection over center field that soared 60 feet past their deep 230′ fence…definitely going out of most baseball fields.
Camper picked up another win and added seven more strikeouts to season total.
