Geneva Valdine Rummell, 76, of Radford, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Ray and Elizabeth Furrow Reed; son-in-law, Troy Shane Godsey; sister, Sylvia “Frankie” Odham; brother, Dower “Aubrey” Furrow; and her longtime companion, Walter Smith.
Survivors include her son, Tommy Rummell; daughter, Megan Godsey; grandchildren, Mikayla Jones, Brittany Francis (Brian), Kenneth “Bubba” Rummell, and Hannah Jones; brothers and sister-in-law, Clyde C, Reed, and James S. Reed (Daphne); and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends.
The family received friends Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services followed with Pastor Danny Newman officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Dublin.
