THE NRV MPO SEEKS PUBLIC INPUT
FOR THE ROUTE 460 BUSINESS CORRIDOR
BICYCLE, PEDESTRIAN,  AND TRANSIT STUDY
Find out about the study progress and potential safety
improvements along Route 460 Business in Blacksburg,
Christiansburg, and
Montgomery County. The
meeting will be held at the
Virginia Tech Corporate
Research Center, Joseph W.
Meredith Training & Event
Center, located at 1691 Innovation Drive, Suite 1025,
Blacksburg, VA 24060 on Thursday, September 5th, 2024,
from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. In addition to the in-person meeting,
public meeting materials will be posted by September
3rd on the New River Valley Metropolitan Planning
Organization (MPO) website at www.newrivervalleympo.
org. Please give your written comments online, at the
meeting, or submit them via USPS to the NRV MPO’s
office, located at 755 Roanoke St. Ste. 2I, Christiansburg,
VA 24073. You may also e-mail your comments to
460study@rkk.com. Comments for this study will be
received until 5:00 PM, September 21st, 2024.
This public notice and opportunity to comment on
the Route 460 Study meets the program of projects
requirements as established by the FTA pursuant to 49
U.S.C. Section 5307(c).
The NRV MPO ensures nondiscrimination and equal

with Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
