that the Board of Supervisors hereby advertises a proposed Ordinance Amending Chapter 3, Animals of the Code of the County of Montgomery, Virginia by amending Section 3-34 by adding any dog that served as a police or law enforcement dog or as a military working dog to dogs no license tax shall be levied on to be considered by the Board of Supervisors at their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 7:15 p.m., or as soon thereafter at the Montgomery County Government Center, 2nd Floor Board Room, 755 Roanoke Street, Christiansburg, Virginia.
A copy of the full text of the Ordinance is on file in the Office of the County Administrator and is available 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday for public inspection or copying.
