Mary Ruth Mannon Haynes, 89, of Fairlawn, was surrounded by her loved ones when she went home to be with her Lord and received her wings Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024. She was a member of the New River Baptist Temple.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Blanche Mannon; daughters, Elizabeth Ann Haynes and Christina D. Haynes Turpin; her former husband and friend, and his wife, James and Peggy Haynes; sister, Opal Pannel; and brothers, William Moore Mannon, Jr., Rolly Curtis “Rollo” Mannon, and Paul David “Bunk” Mannon.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Joey (Theresa) Haynes; grandchildren, Shawn (Melissa) Turpin, Dawn (Dino) Orgetas, Stacy Stull, Derek Turpin, and Hunter (Yamile) Haynes; nine great grandchildren; sister, Blanche “Tenny” Jones; brother, Tommy (Margie) Mannon; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and her lap companion, Zoey.
The family would like to thank Janina and Sherri for their excellent care of Mom when we had appointments.
The family received friends Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services followed with Rev. Frankie Graham officiating. Interment followed in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
