CHRISTIANBURG – The Montgomery County Emergency Assistant Program (MCEAP) is once again sponsoring “Wrapping for a Reason” to help Christmas shoppers get their packages wrapped for the holidays.
MCEAP staffs an ecumenical wrapping booth at Uptown Christiansburg, formerly called the NRV Mall. Volunteers will be at the booth located in the old Zales location and the booth will be open from Black Friday until Christmas Eve. Hours will vary but will be from about an hour after the mall opens to an hour before it closes.
All proceeds go to MCEAP which provides year-round emergency assistance-food, clothing, utilities, and housing to those in need in Montgomery County. “Wrapping for a Reason” is one of the two fundraisers that MCEAP sponsors to help raise funds to help our neighbors in need. Please go to mceap.com for more information.
