Elizabeth Gwinn Whitlock Eanes, 94, of Christiansburg, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, Mar. 1, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gustavus Arthur and Lillie Pratt Whitlock; her husband, James Wade Eanes; five brothers; three sisters; and her son-in-law, John Creger.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Roger Eanes (Jodi), Karen Patterson (Les), Sandra McGugan (Dave) and Linda Creger; grandchildren Mandy Raftery, Christopher Patterson, Catherine McElroy (Travis), Wade McGugan, Grace McGugan, Brandon Creger, and Lindsay Creger; great-grandchildren William and Lily Raftery; sister-in-law, Vestal Whitlock; and many other relatives and special friends.
The family received friends Monday, Mar. 10, 2025, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services followed with Pastor Tim Hight officiating. Burial followed in Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
