BLACKSBURG — Are you looking for a safe, fun, and engaging summer program for your child in 2025? The YMCA at Virginia Tech is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated YMCA Summer Camps, offering a wide variety of dynamic and meaningful experiences for youth and teens in the New River Valley.

With two program tracks—full-day camps for youth (ages 8–12) and half-day afternoon camps for teens (ages 13–17)—the Y is ready to help your child grow, explore, and thrive this summer.

“Our summer camps are more than just a place to spend the day—they’re a launchpad for creativity, leadership, and lifelong memories,” said Bethany Bookout, Program Director at the YMCA at Virginia Tech. “Whether your child loves the outdoors, science, the arts, or just making new friends, we have something that will spark their passion and bring out their best.”

The 2025 summer camp schedule includes:

Teen half-day afternoon camps: 6/2–6/6 – EcoArt Summer Camp: Teen Edition 6/16–6/20 – STEM Camp 7/7–7/11 – Leaders in Training Camp – Session 1 7/21–7/25 – Camp Wild Card: Teen Edition 8/4–8/8 – Leaders in Training Camp – Session 2

Elementary full day camps: 6/9–6/13 – EcoArt Summer Camp 6/23–6/27 – Nature Explorer Camp 7/14–7/18 – Camp Wild Card 7/28–8/1 – Music and Movement Camp

These camps are designed to inspire growth and ignite creativity in every camper. From STEM and sustainability to leadership and laughter, there’s a perfect fit for every interest. Let this be the summer your child discovers their spark, builds new skills, and makes memories that last a lifetime—with the YMCA.

Spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
