Steve Baffuto, President & CEO at Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, has successfully completed the Certificate in Workforce Development Fundamentals program, offered through a partnership between the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) Foundation and the International Economic Development Council (IEDC).

As a member of the third cohort, Baffuto has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing his skills and promoting inclusive workforce development practices, the MCCC announced.

The rigorous program provided a deep dive into the intersection of economic and workforce development. Over six weeks, Baffuto has engaged in expert-led sessions, interactive exercises, and a comprehensive curriculum, culminating in an online exam. One of just over 150 professionals nationwide to earn this certificate. Baffuto now joins an esteemed group of workforce development leaders.

“We are proud to celebrate Steve’s achievement and see him become part of a growing network of professionals dedicated to workforce development,” said Reid Broughton, Chair of the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. “We look forward to seeing how his newly acquired skills will create a lasting impact in the community.”
