The Virginia Tech women’s basketball team has released its in-conference schedule, and it includes a Sunday, Dec. 7 home opener against Duke.

Other home games will bring Miami, Boston College, Clemson, Pitt, Virginia, N.C. State, North Carolina and Georgia Tech to the Cassell.

Altogether, the Lady Hokies will have 18 conference games.

The Hokies will travel to all three of the ACC’s 2024 newcomers in SMU, Cal and Stanford. It is just the first time VT will play on the road against both the Golden Bears and the Cardinal and the first time since Nov. 2011 competing in the Golden State. The trip to Dallas to play SMU is just the second in Virginia Tech program history, dating back to their 87-61 defeat of the Mustangs on Nov. 26, 2005.

Tech is home twice for two-straight ACC contests in 2026 from Jan. 29-Feb. 1 and Feb. 19-Feb. 22. VT ends the ACC season on the road for the fourth consecutive season. The Commonwealth Clash will be played exactly one month apart; Feb. 1 in Blacksburg and March 1 in Charlottesville. Virginia Tech travels to seven states outside of Virginia for ACC competition.

Virginia Tech Athletics is set to celebrate 50 seasons of varsity women’s basketball in Blacksburg in 2025-26. Throughout the season, the program will recognize the people, stories and milestones that have defined its legacy, culminating in our 50 seasons of women’s basketball celebration this winter.
