Rita Burk Boland, 74, of Radford, died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025. She was born in Christiansburg on Dec. 28, 1950, to the late Clara Burk.
Rita was a registered nurse, and was the director of nursing at St. Albans, where she worked for over 40 years.
She is survived by her husband, Lynn Boland; son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Kate Boland; grandchild, Audrey Boland; and a sister, Peggy Surface.
A memorial service will be conducted Thursday, Sept.18, 2025,1 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. T. Michael Bond officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 – 1 p.m. before the service.
