Tim Smoot has stepped down as the softball coach at Auburn High School.
The opening could be one of the most interesting ones in the state of Virginia. Expect a lot of familiar names including former Auburn players to apply for this position.
Auburn claimed another state title this past spring.
Duffy’s coaching show
Virginia Tech Athletics announced the dates of The Megan Duffy Show which is set to debut on Tuesday, Oct. 28 live from the University Club on campus. Evan Hughes, the voice of Virginia Tech women’s basketball will host the show with Duffy and other guests from the program.
Fans can listen live locally on 105.3 FM The Bear as well as the HokieSports App.
A total of eight shows will take place, starting on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 6 p.m. ET and ending on Monday, March 2.
