Bridge Replacement

Find out about a project to replace the Route 629
(Bradshaw Road) bridge over Bradshaw Creek in
Montgomery County. The project entails replacing the
aging existing bridge with a modern structure that
meets current standards. The bridge is located 1.05
miles from Route 603 (North Fork Road) and ends
0.95 mile from Route 622 (Flatwood Road). During
construction, traffic will be detoured for approximately
12 to 14 months.

questions.
If your concerns cannot be satisfied, VDOT is willing
to hold a public hearing. You may request that a
public hearing be held by sending a written request to
Edward Cake, Virginia Department of Transportation,
731 Harrison Avenue, Salem, VA 24153 on or prior to
November 20, 2025.
If a request for a public hearing is received, notice of
date, time and place of the hearing will be posted.
