Women’s Resource Center of NRV wins top prize in giveaway

 The Solomon Organization recently held its Second Annual Blacksburg Give A Chance Charitable Lottery Giveaway, with the Women’s Resource Center of the New River Valley, located in Radford, taking the top prize.

“We’re overwhelmed with gratitude to each and every one of you who voted for us in the Blacksburg Give a Chance Charitable Donation Giveaway during the month of October,” the WRC announced. “Thanks to your support, we were able to win the $10,000 Grand Prize this year. These funds will make a meaningful difference in our efforts to make a difference for individuals and families in the New River Valley Community.”

“A huge thank you to all of the incredible local charities who attended and continue to make such a difference in our community,” The Solomon Organization announced. “Congratulations to this year’s winners!”

In addition to the $10,000 Grand Prize Winner the Women’s Resource Center of the New River Valley, other winners include:

$5,000 winners: Blacksburg Community Band and Flying Changes Virginia

$2,500 winners: Intellectual Disabilities Agency and Imagination Library of Montgomery County.

“We’re so grateful for everyone who took part, voted, and helped make this event such a success. Together, we’re building stronger communities and giving back where it matters most,” announced the Solomon Organization. “We’re already looking forward to seeing everyone again for next year’s event.”

The Solomon Organization owns and operates over 70 rental communities in 10 states, including three locations in Blacksburg.
