CHRISTIANSBURG – The New River Valley Home Builders Association’s (NRVHBA) 45th annual Home Expo, presented by Ewing Construction & Cabinetry, returns Mar. 21-22 at the Christiansburg Rec Center, 1600 N. Franklin St.

The NRVHBA has brought all your home improvement needs together in one easy location. Are you planning to build a new home, refresh your current space, connect with mortgage lenders, or find the right service providers for your to-do list? This is the event of the Spring you won’t want to miss.

“We’re thrilled to bring together another outstanding lineup of local businesses and professionals for this year’s expo,” said Kelsey Grow, Executive Officer of the NRVHBA. “With spring on the horizon, there’s no better time for homeowners across the New River Valley to connect with trusted contractors and vendors, gather ideas, and get those home projects off the ground.”

The Expo floor will be filled with experienced local professionals ready to address your home improvement questions, offer reliable recommendations, and showcase their expertise and services. Exhibitors include custom builders, remodeling specialists, landscaping and outdoor living experts, flooring professionals, home product suppliers, and much more. A complete list of exhibitors is available online at www.nrvhomeexpo.com.

Beyond exploring exhibitor booths, attendees can participate in the always-popular LEGO Home Building Contest, by voting for their favorite design, and place bids in the Silent Auction featuring home fixtures, quality tools, service gift certificates, unique experiences, and more. Online bidding will be available for added convenience.

Back for 2026, the NRV Home Expo features the Parade of Playhouses, showcasing beautifully crafted playhouses created by talented local NRVHBA builders. These one-of-a-kind playhouses will be auctioned off to benefit the NRVHBA Constructing Careers Grant Program, which provides funding for classroom initiatives at area schools that promote construction trades education and career awareness. Attendees can view the playhouses throughout the expo on Mar. 21-22, with online bidding opening March 18th.

The event runs Saturday, Mar. 21, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. and Sunday, Mar. 22, 12-5 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults at the door. Children under 18 receive free admission when accompanied by a paying adult. Watch for $2 off coupons available online, at participating local businesses, and in your mailbox. Advance tickets can be purchased at www.nrvhomeexpo.com.
