BLACKSBURG – NRV Indivisible and students at Virginia Tech are joining to hold a rally this Saturday, Mar. 28 on Henderson Lawn.

“The NRV is energized and organized,” said organizers. “Local activists, NRV Indivisible and YDSA at Virginia Tech (Young Democratic Socialists of America), have joined together to host the Nationwide No Kings rally.”

The rally will be held this Saturday, Mar. 28, on Henderson Lawn (at Main St. and College Ave in Blacksburg), 3 to 6 p.m.

“Many community activist organizations from across the NRV will join us on Henderson Lawn to share their work, representing the values of a free and equitable society,” organizers announced. “The March 28 rally focuses on executive overreach and the threat it poses not only to immigrants but to the very right of every American citizen to participate in free and fair elections. We protest the President’s ruthless disregard for American lives, waging costly and unwanted wars and further enriching the oligarchy of billionaires who would deny basic health care to millions of citizens.”
