NRV CARES has announced Roots Realty Group as the first Community Champion sponsor for its Annual Event and Auction.
The sponsorship supports NRV CARES’ mission “to prevent child abuse and neglect, allowing the organization to reach more families and deepen its impact across the region,” the organization announced.
“For more than 40 years, NRV CARES has worked to protect children, prevent abuse, and strengthen families throughout the New River Valley,” according tot he announcement. “This mission is made possible by the ongoing dedication of local partners and the generosity of the community.”

The 26th Annual Event and Auction launches a series of Child Abuse Prevention Month activities in the New River Valley. Taking place on Mar. 28 at the Eastern Divide in Blacksburg, the ticketed event features an auction, food and opportunities for community connection. Limited tickets are available and supporters can also participate virtually.
