Leo Douglas Smith, 84, of Radford, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026. Born April 11, 1942, he was preceded in death by his parents, Ira William, Sr. and Thelma Surface Smith; and his brother, Rev. Ira William Smith, Jr.
Survivors include his loving wife, Ozina Bilbrey Smith; daughter, Vickie Martin; granddaughter and her spouse, Hannah (Ethan) Martin Caldwell; sister and brother-in-law, Jane and J.R. Price; brothers and sisters-in-law, Earl (Gloria) Smith and Paul (Kim) Smith; adopted daughter, Brenda Arrington; and many other relatives and special friends.
The family received friends Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services followed with Pastor Mike Lawrence officiating. Interment was held privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Mountain Mission Church, C/O Mike Lawrence, 755 Reading Road, Christiansburg, VA, 24073.
The Smith family is in the care of the Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
