Auburn’s Kaylee Ramratten has been named both the Mt. Empire District and Region 1C soccer player of the year.
The junior first baseman hit .506 with seven homeruns during the season with 39 hits. She totalled 43 RBS’s and two games with three homeruns.
Auburn coach, Sean Gaynor, was also named both the district and all-region coach of the year.
Ramratten was joined on the first team all-region by teammates, Ariel Mullins, Skyler Hodges and Johnnie Gaynor.
Eastern Montgomery’s Macie Akers was also named first-team all-region. Eastern Montgomery’s Rena Chandler and Mary Miller were named to the second team.
Auburn’s Mullins, Hodges and Gaynor was also named to the MED first-team.
Auburn’s Hope Wilson, Faith Wilson, Kaylen Mitcham, Addison Earley, and Leah Wimmer were named to the MED second team.
Ramrattan was also named to the Class 1 all-state team. Gaynor and Hodges were named to the second-team all-state.
