Mildred Gae Roop Hedge, of Radford, passed away July 19, 2026, at the age of 98. Born Mar. 5, 1928, she was preceded in death by her parents, Jeptha Trigg Roop and Pearl Jewel Akers, a brother, Lincoln Roop, and her husband, Luther Alvin Hedge.
She is survived by her three daughters, Doris Bryant (Roy Nelson) of Lemoore, California; Linda Brown of Dublin; and Alice (Danny) Hamblin of Belspring; four grandchildren, Michael Bryant, Steven Bryant, Bryce (Rebecca) Epperly and Mandy (Bill) Herrington; and several great-grandchildren.
A private service will be held at a later date in the Roop Family Cemetery.
The Hedge family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory.
