CHRISTIANSBURG – The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the six recipients of its 2026 Minority-Owned Business Membership Raffle, made possible through the generous sponsorship of Carter Bank and River Mountain Properties.
The 2026 recipients are: Baan Coffee & Thai Tea, CampusHaul, Don’s Improvement, LLC, Elegant Nails, Mano a Mano Services LLC and The Lemuel Foundation Inc.
Each recipient will receive sponsored membership with the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. Membership provides businesses and organizations with access to professional development, networking opportunities, community connections, promotional resources, and programs designed to support sustainable growth.
“Our Chamber is strongest when businesses of different sizes, industries, backgrounds, and perspectives have opportunities to connect and participate,” said Steve Baffuto, President and CEO of the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. “We are grateful to Carter Bank and River Mountain Properties for helping remove a potential barrier to membership and opening the door.”
The raffle reflects the Chamber’s continued commitment to supporting entrepreneurship and expanding access to the relationships and resources that help local businesses succeed.
“As a small business owner, I know how much of a difference meaningful connection and opportunities can make,” said Lindsey Gilmer of River Mountain Properties. “I wanted to help another small business get a foot in the door, and I know a Chamber membership opens new opportunities for growth and success.”
“Small businesses are the backbone of our communities, and at Carter Bank, we strive to create opportunities for them to prosper,” said James Cabler, Community Development Lender at Carter Bank. “We believe that when diverse voices are empowered to succeed, we all benefit. Together, we can create a future where everyone can live life to the fullest.”
